How to set up LayerSeven TV on Smart TV
Samsung and LG televisions run their own systems — Tizen and webOS — rather than Android, so they work differently from everything else here. Their IPTV apps identify your television by its MAC address, which means activation happens on our side rather than by typing a password into the television. It is a couple of extra minutes and then you never touch it again.

Step-by-Step Setup
Smart TV Installation
Open Your TV App Store
On Samsung, open Samsung Apps; on LG, open the LG Content Store. Search for "Smart IPTV", "IPTV Smarters" or "IBO Player" and install one. These are the apps built for television systems — the players used on phones and Fire TV do not exist here.
Find Your MAC Address
Open the app you just installed. It shows a MAC address on screen — twelve characters in the form 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX. Photograph it rather than copying it by hand; a single wrong character means the activation lands on the wrong device and nothing works.
Send Us Your MAC Address
Send that address to our support team by live chat or email, or enter it on our playlist page if you would rather do it yourself. We link your subscription to that television and confirm when it is done — usually within a few minutes during working hours.
Restart the App
Close the app completely and reopen it. On most televisions that means returning to the home screen rather than just switching input, and on some it means turning the set off at the wall for ten seconds. Your channels appear on the next launch.

Channels, guide and on-demand content all load. Use the TV remote to browse categories and set favourites. Because activation is tied to the television itself, nothing needs re-entering after a power cut or a firmware update.

Common problems

The app shows no channels after activation
Almost always the app was not fully closed. Exit to the home screen and reopen it, or power the television off at the wall for ten seconds. Check too that the MAC address you sent matches the one on screen exactly.
The app is missing from my TV store
Manufacturers add and remove apps by region and model year, and older sets stop receiving new ones. Try the other supported apps; if none are available, an inexpensive Android TV box or Fire TV Stick gives the television a full player.
It worked and then stopped after a firmware update
A firmware update can change the reported MAC address. Reopen the app, check whether the address on screen has changed, and send us the new one — reactivation takes a moment.
