How to set up LayerSeven TV on Apple TV
Apple TV is the simplest television setup here and also the most restricted: tvOS has no sideloading whatsoever, so everything comes from the App Store. That is no real loss — several genuinely good players are there, they update themselves, and the hardware decodes 4K flawlessly. Expect to be watching in about three minutes.

Step-by-Step Setup
Apple TV Installation
Open the App Store
Press the Home button on the Siri Remote and open the App Store from the home screen. There is no other way to install on tvOS — no sideloading, no browser, no file transfer — so any guide telling you otherwise is describing a different platform.
Install an IPTV Player
Search for IPTV Smarters Lite, GSE Smart IPTV, UHF or Chillio and install whichever you prefer. If you already use one of them on an iPhone, take the same one here: several sync their playlists across devices through iCloud, which saves entering the server details twice.
Add Your Playlist
Open the app and choose "Xtream Codes API", then enter the server URL, username and password from your subscription email. An M3U link works too but brings only the channel list. Typing a long address with the Siri Remote is tedious — when the keyboard prompt appears on a nearby iPhone, type it there instead.
Match Content to Frame Rate
Go to Settings > Video and Audio and turn on "Match Content" for both frame rate and dynamic range. Live television is broadcast at 50 or 60 fps depending on region, and without this the Apple TV forces everything to its own setting, which shows up as slight but persistent judder on motion — most visible on sport.
Start Watching
Channels, guide and on-demand content load in. The Siri Remote swipes through categories quickly, and search finds a channel faster than scrolling ever will. Picture quality on a 4K Apple TV is as good as this gets.

Can I sideload your app onto Apple TV?
No — tvOS does not permit it, for anyone. Use one of the App Store players with your Xtream Codes details; the experience is the same and the app keeps itself updated.
Sport looks juddery
Turn on Settings > Video and Audio > Match Content > Match Frame Rate. Without it the Apple TV converts every stream to one fixed frame rate, and the mismatch is most obvious on fast motion.
The app forgets my playlist after an update
Some players store playlists locally rather than in iCloud. Turn on the app’s iCloud sync if it offers one, and keep your subscription email to hand — re-entering the details takes a minute.
